Eversolo is new to the audio game, and it is bringing out products that offer users better features at lower price points. I recently reviewed the AMP-F10, and I was surprised by its performance. The Eversolo DMP-A10 was designed to complement the AMP-F10, it is Eversolo’s flagship streamer that shakes things up at a higher level.

Review
The Eversolo DMP-A10 is a three-in-one product. It is a streamer, DAC, and a preamp. It has a new design, and it is slightly bigger than its predecessor, the A8. It has a CNC machined Aluminum chassis, with metal fins on the side that help with passive cooling. It also feels heavier with a weight of 16 pounds.
On the front panel, you have a dedicated power button on the left side and the Eversolo logo. On the right side, you’ll find the volume knob that was redesigned and now includes a screen. This screen can display artwork and customize different themes. A 6 ½ inch touchscreen sits in the middle, it is extremely smooth, fast, and responsive. You can control everything right from the front screen, or from the app. The Eversolo DMP-A10 can also cast its screen to your phone, this feature helps you use third-party apps, as you cannot directly access them from the streamer.
On the back, you have all the essential ports. An Ethernet port, balanced XLR inputs, RCA inputs, HDMI eARC, two coaxial inputs, one USB-B input, two USB-A inputs, and two TOSLINK inputs. You have balanced XLR outputs, one coaxial output, one TOSLINK output, and one USB-A port. There are trigger in and out ports and a new SFP Fiber port so you can connect your network via fiber if you purchase an additional SFP module. There are also two dedicated subwoofer outputs, which let you connect two subwoofers directly to the Eversolo DMP-A10 and control them from the screen. You can set the sub-level, crossover frequency, and polarity directly from the screen.
From the app, you can customize the home screen of the A10, set favorites, and get a better look at the settings. It allows you to stream music from third-party apps and has a universal music search feature that finds all the songs you want from various streaming services. Eversolo also includes a remote in the box if you want to use that. The A10 supports Deezer, Tidal, Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, and more.
The A10 has dual independent linear power supplies, which consist of a toroidal transformer and a low-noise linear power supply to separate the digital system from the analog circuits, this helps reduce interference and distortion. For the DAC, Eversolo used the ESS ES9039 Pro DAC chip. The A10 supports hi-res audio at 32-bit / 768 kHz, and DSD512.
The Eversolo DMP-A10 also comes with its own room correction. We usually only see this in more expensive products, and I liked that Eversolo included it. The streamer will automatically adjust the sound to fit your room better. You can set up room correction with the streamer’s own mic, an external microphone, or the mic of an iPhone.
If you don’t want to use room correction and tune the streamer manually, the Eversolo DMP-A10 also gives you a 10-band Parametric Equalizer. This allows you to make precise adjustments to specific frequencies, significantly enhancing sound quality. It also supports FIR filter imports, loudness adjustments, and dynamic compression.
I tested the Eversolo DMP-A10 with the Bowers & Wilkins 705 S3 Signature speakers and the Eversolo AMP-F10. No matter what I played, the A10 just sounded great. You can notice the power of the new DAC chip, and there was also a great difference in the sound before and after room correction.
Verdict
If you are looking for a good budget streamer, then the Eversolo DMP-A10 should be your pick. It works well with other amplifiers, and Eversolo added everything they possibly could in this streamer. This streamer is at the top of my list, and you should give it a try.
